The Atlantic City African-American Photograph Collection consists of 188 identified and unidentified photographs of African American life in Atlantic City. In the archives 117 years, the collection was donated by various patrons or found by Library staff. Some things that are depicted are African American doctors checking on their patients, black businesses, promotion of the N.A.A.C.P in the 1930s, and daily life in the late 1800s to early 1900s.
